Foot straps and pull bars are widely used both in flatwater and ocean race paddling, where athletes apply intensive legwork during the stroke in order to gain a good level of bracing. Our straps and bars are designed especially for flat or semi-flat water kayaks where both functionality and simplicity have a great role. They are all durable, comfortable, lightweight and easy to adjust.
Foot straps are standard features in all RACING kayaks and TOURING/FITNESS kayaks in non-STANDARD constructions. In other models (eg. MINI kayaks, TOURING/FITNESS boats in STANDARD construction) they are optional features. Whenever a foot strap is equipped a Tiller Bar (T-Bar) with adjustable shaft (FSx2) is used.
KAPE ADJUSTABLE PADDED FOOT STRAP – The standard choice
Its high surface, easy adjustability and thick padding are definately the greatest advantages of our standard choice. With a plastic buckle and a slim toothed nylon strap you can easily tighten or release the strap.. and it surely won't get loose.
Neoprene Foot Strap
A simple & lightweight strap made of three 5 cm wide stripes with hook and loop fasteners. The middle strap is covered with a 3mm thick neoprene padding sewed on the inside. Unlike other similar foot straps with a neoprene hose, this shouldn't be rolled up before adjusting the hook and loop fasteners.
Padded Pull Bar
A solid and straight bar covered by a thick polyfoam tube. The distance of the bar can be adjusted by bolts.
Carbon Pull Plate
An 8 cm wide, slightly curved carbon plate with a neoprene padding glued on the inside. The distance of the plate can be also adjusted by bolts.
